The Centre Gallery Presents “Exposed: An Exhibition”
The Works of The Focus Group
Tampa, FL (May 2013) – From June 3 through 14, the Centre Gallery at the University of South Florida will host Exposed: An Exhibition by The Focus Group. The Focus Group is a collection of Pre-professional Artists working through the mediums of photography and video art. Visitors to the gallery will encounter artworks that will demonstrate the range of styles, techniques, photographic processes, and artistic directions the members of the organization are currently practicing. Work will also contain a range of conceptual content from childhood memories recreated to elaborate constructions. Please be aware that some of the images will include adult themes and explicit content.
The Exposed reception will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 14, in the Centre Gallery at the Marshall Student Center in room 2700, 4202 E. Fowler Ave., Tampa, Fla. It is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 12 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Centre Gallery has reopened for fall 2013 proposals! Students, alumni, faculty and staff are welcomed to submit, so feel free to submit your proposal to the Centre Gallery or 2nd floor CSI office.
We encourage each artist to explore the practice of exhibiting, utilizing the space in a way that bears his or her signature. Students interested in group collaborative projects or faculty members with special class projects are encouraged to submit proposals.
Gallery exhibitions are two weeks in duration, but we can sometimes accommodate proposals of different lengths (for performance art, film, etc.).
Proposal guidelines can be found on the Centre Gallery website under “Submit Your Work > Propose a Show”:
